Commercial use of Image:FloorCream.PNG

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:FloorCream.PNG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:FloorCream.PNG is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:FloorCream.PNG itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:36, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Vader Revelations.PNG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vader Revelations.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:46, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:455.PNG

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:455.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:38, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Metallica. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. I have blocked you for three hours for edit warring and violating the three revert rule on Metallica. Once your block is up, feel free to edit again in a constructive manner. Please try to resolve issues without edit wars in the future, thank you. DarthGriz98 18:08, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If it's humour you want, then I suggest Uncyclopedia. If you wish to test how to edit articles, go to the sandbox. This is an encyclopedia, and the fact that you have been warned rather than not blocked outright shows that we will at least give you another chance. ≈ The Haunted Angel 21:33, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Dude while i agree with you you could get into trouble for the whole edit war thing, leading to you possibly getting warned, blocked or even banned...and that's not something anyone wants...so while i applaud you, even if you're right, you may be punished....all the best..CHEERS--EmperorofBlackPeopleEverywhere (talk) 03:44, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

im def not saying i would punished you i don't have the authority and frankly don't want it..all im saying is because she was never called down. sharon told her that she was supposed to be called down but she wasn't going to...therefore she was safe and not at risk...even though she was supposed to be..which is why there was a note made about it under the table..that's all that we were trying to say--EmperorofBlackPeopleEverywhere (talk) 04:09, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
